What to do with 15 y.o. Won’t do homework, help, steals food, plays computer games constantly.?

Lovely personality and kind hearted. Just seems to have removed himself from life. 6′+ and 122kg. Very conscious of weight but won’t do anything about it. I know he loves me to bits but can’t talk about anything but games and fantasy. Try another conversation he will not respond. Exceptionally intelligent but can’t see the point in work of any kind be it school, helping around home or outside the home. He has nice bunch of friends at school and is highly regarded at judo club.. Have tried talking & writing letters to him but nothing seems to get a change in behaviour. Lately his lies and stealing have come between him, sister and her boyfriend who is best friend and ‘brother’ to him. I hate to see deterioration in that relationship because it is very important to son. B’friend has tried talking to him as well but gets nowhere either. Father not interested and never will be. Please help.

It could be just a phase . tough love sometimes does wonders. sometimes a change in atmosphere works . At 15 the boys minds go wonky .
No need in getting mad at him (hahahaha) but gentile persuasion or guidance will often do all that can be done.

The films of director Zhang Yimou have a panoramic sweep to them that deftly creates a fantastical vision of ancient Chinese culture for the screen. Yimou’s eye for color and sense of drama demands a score that conveys the emotion, tradition and action of his movies. Here Shigeru Umebayashi tells each part of the story with a mix of traditional flute, drums, string instruments and, to a lesser deg…

Spider-Man 2 [VHS]

$3.59

More than a few critics hailed Spider-Man 2 as “the best superhero movie ever,” and there’s no compelling reason to argue–thanks to a bigger budget, better special effects, and a dynamic, character-driven plot, it’s a notch above Spider-Man in terms of emotional depth and rich comic-book sensibility. Ordinary People Oscar®-winner Alvin Sargent received screenplay credit, and celebrated author an…

Before they unleashed the idiotic mayhem of Independence Day and Godzilla, the idea-stealing team of director Roland Emmerich and producer-screenwriter Dean Devlin concocted this hokey hit about the discovery of an ancient portal capable of zipping travelers to “the other side of the known universe.” James Spader plays the Egyptologist who successfully translates the Stargate’s hieroglyphic code, …
