Trees in Facebook’s Farmville

By admin

Farmville crops can be grouped into three: Animals, Trees, and Regular Crops. Trees will be the only topic discussed in this particular page. If you are more interested in knowing more about the other two crops (and tips to earn lots of coins), head on over to another articl.

Trees are an ideal crop in that they never wither like the seed crops do. You put a tree on your farm, it will mature, and you can harvest it when you feel like it. They are highly decorative and are a nice way to liven up your farm. The downside  of  planting trees is that they are a poor return if you buy them yourself. A single tree can be purchased for 400 coins, and you will only make about 20-80 coins for very harvest. Just wait for friends to send the trees to you; if people aren’t, put a signpost on your property requesting for particular trees which are available through the free gift system. You should also keep in mind that trees take a couple of days to mature.  You will not earn lot of coins just by planting trees.

When you’re selecting your trees, take a moment to think about your Farmville goals. Maybe you simply want to see if it is feasible to get a lot of coins in a short time. If so, don’t bother with trees. If if your goal is get lots of coins grow berries instead. Then again if you’re going to use them for decorative purposes and you don’t care if you are going to wait for a crop to ripen, they’re a great option.

People who leave Farmville for extended periods of time and then come back to it (e.g. a few days or weeks) will also be fond of trees and animals. You can delay harvest of  both trees and animals—seed crops rot if you don’t harvest them immediately. Plan wisely and you’ll never have to clear a field of withered plants (very dull way to spend an evening)!
